Audacity X هي واحدة من أدوات تعديل الصوت الأكثر إستعمالا و ذلك بفضل توافقها مع عدة منصات. فسواء كان لديك نظام Linux ،Windows أو Mac، فسيكون بإمكانك الإستفادة من ميزاتها على أي من هذه الأنظمة، أضف إلى ذلك أنها مجانية تماما.
تتميز هذه الاداة كذلك بكونها متعددة المقاطع و الصيغ، و هذا يعني أنها تستطيع الإشتغال على مقاطع و صيغ متعددة في نفس الوقت إضافة إلى إمكانية حفظ الناتج تحت أي صيغة صوتية.
إن كنت تتوفر على أداة مدمجة أو ميكروفون، فبإمكانك إستعمالهما كملفات صوتية في إبداعاتك الموسيقية. حيث بإمكان هذه الأداة أن تلتقط حتى 16 قناة مختلفة في نفس الوقت.
تدعم Audacity X كلا من WAV ،AIFF ،AU و OGG Vorbis. لذلك إن كنت تود الإشتغال على ملفات mp3 فيلزمك تثبيت أداة LAME لفك ترميزها.
تمكنك هذه الاداة كذلك من فعل كل ما تود بإبداعاتك الموسيقية حيث يمكنك جز مقاطع معينة أو نسخها و لصقها، و إضافة مؤثرات صدى أو التبديل بين المقاطع.
إن كنت تعتقد أن هذه الخصائص لا تكفيك، فبإمكانك أيضا تثبيت تطبيقات مرافقة للزيادة من فعاليتها.

Audacity overview

Audio recording, editing and mixing tool.
Audacity is a free audio recorder/editor/mixer. You can record sounds, play sounds, import and export WAV, AIFF, and MP3 files, and more. Use it to edit your sounds using Cut, Copy and Paste (with unlimited Undo), mix tracks together, or apply effects to your recordings. It also has a built-in amplitude envelope editor, a customizable spectrogram mode, and a frequency analysis window for audio analysis applications. Built-in effects include Bass Boost, Wahwah, and Noise Removal, and it also supports VST plug-in effects.
